1. Head Toward 4th Street Depart from the Texas Tech University campus and navigate toward the north edge of campus at the intersection of University Avenue and 4th Street.
2. Turn West onto 4th Street Turn onto 4th Street heading west, driving away from the university and toward the west side of Lubbock.
3. Continue Straight Stay on 4th Street for approximately 3.5 miles. You will pass through several major intersections along the way, including Quaker Avenue and Slide Road.
4. Cross Under the Loop Continue heading west on 4th Street as you pass straight under the West Loop 289 overpass.
5. Turn Right onto Frankford Avenue At the very next major intersection just past the Loop, use the right turn lane to turn right (north) onto Frankford Avenue.
6. Head North for One Block Drive north on Frankford Avenue for a very short distance. The 300 block is located immediately north of the 4th Street intersection.
7. Arrive at Storage Zone Look for our facility on the east side of the street. Turn right into the parking lot for Storage Zone at 309 Frankford Ave, where we are ready to assist you with all your storage needs!
1. Navigate toward 4th Street Start by heading north through the Northridge neighborhood (using local roads like Bangor Avenue, Dover Avenue, or 7th Street) until you reach 4th Street.
2. Turn West onto 4th Street Turn onto 4th Street heading west, pointing your vehicle away from Slide Road and toward the outer west side of town.
3. Drive West on 4th Street Continue driving straight west on 4th Street. Because Northridge is practically right around the corner, you will only be on this road for a couple of minutes.
4. Approach the Frankford Intersection As you drive west, transition into the right-hand lane as you approach the major traffic light at the intersection of 4th Street and Frankford Avenue.
5. Turn Right onto Frankford Avenue Use the right turn lane to turn right (north) onto Frankford Avenue.
6. Head North for One Block Drive north on Frankford Avenue for a very short distance. You will notice the block numbers immediately drop into the 300s as you pass the intersection.
7. Arrive at Storage Zone Keep an eye on the east (right) side of the street and turn into the parking lot for Storage Zone at 309 Frankford Ave. We are ready to help you get moved in!
1. Navigate to 34th Street Start by heading north or south through the Coronado neighborhood (using residential streets like Vicksburg Avenue or Utica Avenue) until you reach 34th Street.
2. Turn West onto 34th Street Turn onto 34th Street heading west, pointing your vehicle away from the center of town and toward West Lubbock.
3. Drive West on 34th Street Continue driving straight west. Depending on exactly where you start in the neighborhood, you will likely cross over major roads like Quaker Avenue and Slide Road.
4. Turn North onto Frankford Avenue Once you reach the intersection of 34th Street and Frankford Avenue, use the right turn lane to turn right (north).
5. Continue North on Frankford Avenue Drive north for approximately 2 miles. This is a straight shot where you will pass through the major intersection at 19th Street and eventually cross under the West Loop 289 overpass.
6. Cross the 4th Street Intersection As you approach the major traffic light at 4th Street, make sure you are in the right-hand lane and proceed straight across the intersection.
7. Arrive at Storage Zone Immediately after crossing 4th Street, the block numbers drop into the 300s. Look to the east (right) side of the street and turn into the parking lot for Storage Zone at 309 Frankford Ave. We look forward to providing you with excellent storage solutions!

Our location off 4th and Frankford Ave. offers drive up self-storage units with various sizes from a 5x10 (50 SqFt.) to a 10x20 (200 SqFt.).
Yes! Our leases run month-to-month. We also operate on anniversary billing, and do not pro-rate to the 1st of the month, as every tenant's billing cycle is different.
You do not need to call in after you make an online rental. You will be given an access code via email once your online rental is processed.
Our front office is open from 9:00AM - 5:30PM Monday to Friday, and 9:00AM - 4:00PM on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. Additionally, our gates are activated by a secure access code. This code works between 6:00AM - 12:00AM daily. If you need extended access, please contact an in-store manager during regular business hours.
When showing a unit to a customer, we typically start with a 10x10 storage unit to give a sense of scale. Since a 10x10 unit is about the size of a standard bedroom, most people understand the scale right away when shown. If you need to store about a bedroom's worth of items, a 10x10 is a perfect choice. If you need less space, lots of people in Lubbock choose a 5x10 storage unit. However, the 10x10 is the most common choice overall.
